First thing first, I'm not an efficient blogger and I'm not good at multitasking either. Secondly, this is an inspirational article on the those simple things we almost always taken for granted. I kinda like the idea of having just the title on the draft where you could come back later and say "OK, this is the main course of the day". By the way, I use Google Notebook for taking any note that of interest to me.

Thanks for coming out of your RSS reader and drop a comment on my blog. Talk to you again and have a super weekend ahead.

Yan

@miranda: Nice story miranda. Realistic goal setting really helps whether you're a blogger or not. With blogging, you're the boss and the employee, so by setting goals, you sort of boss yourself into doing something. Again, thanks for the comment!

@Lucas: Giving yourself some time and space really speeds things up. One of my favorite times to write up my posts are after midnight. I often sleep at 3 am, so that three hours of silence and solitude really helps me in getting my writing part done. Thanks for the comment mate!

True, true. I have to agree with all that you stated. Sometimes, I fail to give myself space and time. What happens? I don't accomplish all my goals. :)

Writing goals is definitely worth doing! Like you, I don't do it all the time but still do it quite often.

A slight variation on goal writing is something that goes with a little story - I hope I'm going to remember it properly... Someone once went to the office of Charles Schwab, the american industrialist tycoon in the first part of the 20th century, and asked him if he (Charles S.) would pay him some VERY substantial amount of money if he could show Charles S. how to get a big increase in productivity in his business.

Charles S. agreed. The gentleman then told him to write down each NIGHT, shortly before going to bed, the 3 - 6 things that he wanted to get done the next day. About 6 weeks later, the gentleman returned and Charles S. gave him the money!

It works well for me too (when I do it) and also for other members of my family ...when they do it!
