My WordPress Was Hacked!
I guess my WordPress account and a few other WordPress installations that I run on this blog was hacked. How did I feel? Pretty mad both at myself and whoever took the courtesy to hack it:

Yeah, I’m not afraid to release that person’s email. 
I guess it’s time for a “how to restore a hacked WordPress account” time?

Argh that’s not good – I’ve actually heard quite a few people getting hacked lately. Hope you manage to sort everything out ok!

Hey my blog actually got hacked about two weeks ago. Im not sure about specifics, but when I told my friend what happened he told me to immediately go download the Login LockDown plugin! I havent had any problems since, and the plugin has good ratings so anyone worried about their wordpress safety should definitely check it out

Mine was injected with some sort of malware. And when I was restoring it I got clumsy (or sleepy I guess) I accidentally deleted my back up folder… boom there goes my site. It took me another month to get the site running again.

How did you find out that you blog was hacked? I was hacked once and all my index.php got over written. I think the problem came from my ftp.
